Always Appreciated

It is always wonderful to get a warm message from one of our soldiers. Thanks Scott.

"Keep up the good work with the support group even if times are slow, I always find something cool in the emails that get sent out. And I will also take this chance to thank you, I know my parents both found comfort knowing the group was there while I was deployed." S.Puillandre

Congratulations to CWO Paul D. Elliott

that
CWO Paul D. Elliott, Regimental Sergeant Major of 56 Field Regiment RCA,
has been appointed by His Excellency Governor General David Johnson as a
Member of the Order of Military Merit. Investiture at Government House in
Ottawa will occur at a later date.  The Order of Military Merit recognizes
dedication, conspicuous merit and exceptional service performed by members of

Trooper Larry Rudd was a friend and worked with Teresa's son Matthew in Brantford. Teresa decided to create this gorgeous quilt and offer it to the 56 Family Support Group as a fundraiser. We were thrilled to receive this special quilt. At the Thank-A-Vet Luncheon last Saturday those who are quilters were very impressed with Teresa's handiwork. You will be too.
