The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, with support from Pioneer Energy, is pleased to invite veterans, military personnel and their families as our guests to the concert A Canadian Brass Salute at First Ontario Concert Hall (formerly Hamilton Place) on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at7:30pm.


The HPO is proud to thank and honour our community’s veterans and military families at this concert and members of the military are encouraged to wear their respective uniforms however this must be approved by the chain of command.


With a 50-year history that started in Hamilton and a stellar international reputation, Canadian Brass is one of the foremost brass groups of today. In time for Remembrance Day, the quintet returns home to join the HPO in what promises to be a moving tribute in honour of those who serve our country.

Please RSVP for tickets by Friday, November 1 so that guests may be assigned seats.  Tickets will be released on a first-come, first-served basis and can be picked up at the box office on the night of the concert.

The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1884 as The Hamilton Orchestral Society and grew to become one of Canada’s major professional orchestras. Today, the Philharmonic is a leader in Hamilton’s robust arts community where it provides professional orchestral services and music education programs to address the needs of the community.
